Filming at Church of the Ascension

Church of the Ascension built in the late 1800’s is a stone church with a charming chapel (Sanctuary) with a capacity of 210.  The old stone Church, designed by noted Architect Ernest Coxhead and placed on the National Register of Historic Places is  located in Sierra Madre just a short drive from downtown Los Angeles with easy access to the freeway.

The Church has incredible stained glass windows, wood carved detail and beautiful green gardens. The photos below demonstrate the versatile and myriad of filming potential at this location. Facilities include church interiors, bell tower, kitchen, parish hall, exterior gardens, playground, basement and two-story Parish House.
